  1. Sir what is Weins Law? In the PDF Notes, we dont have a term of Kb( Boltzmann Constant), while in class notes, we do. Please tell the correct equation of Wein’s Law.

    1. The wavelength of maximum intensity λm is inversely proportional to the absolute temperature of the emitting body because of which, the peaks of the energy curves for different temperatures get displaced towards the lower wavelength side. This is called Wien’s displacement law.

  2. According to quantum theory of conductivity we assume the charge carriers to be free from any kind of attraction and repulsion, if that is the case then why do we consider effective mass of charge carrier while dealing with semi conductors?
